Opportunities can be used for a potential job, where little details are yet known about it. They are a way of keeping track of possible future work. A quote can be created from an opportunity.


Order
  • Reason - the reason the Opportunity was lost.
  • Work Title - a brief name, title or description for the work.
  • Tax - the default tax rate. It can be overriden for each component.
  • Currency - applies to the whole opportunity.
  • Approximate Value - includes tax if set above.
Timeline
  • Entered - the date the job was entered.
  • Start - the date the work could start.
  • Required - the date the work could be required.
Staff
  • Entered By - the person who entered the Opportunity.
  • Sales Rep - the customer's primary contact, responsible for the opportunity.

    Each Opportunity has a delivery address (where the job would be sent) and a postal address (where correspondence like the invoice is sent, if it differs to the job).
