This section stores a list of your contacts from clients and suppliers. You can see the recent quotes & jobs with the contact as well as your recent sales history.


Contact
  • Full Name - the name that is displayed in the contacts list.
  • Category - select the category from the drop-down list which is the closest fit for the contact. This is used for reporting purposes.
  • Include in Marketing - if set to yes, the contact will be included in marketing campaigns. This field can be used if data is to be exported to a marketing software such as Hubspot.
  • Status - the current status of the contact
Administration
  • Groups - the groups the contact is a part of (select a maximum of 4). Groups make it easier to find contacts. They can be setup in your preferences.
  • Type - determines who can view this contact.

    Personal contacts can only be seen by you. Business contacts can be seen by managers (other users who have been given access to your contacts).
  • Login Access - determines if this contact has login privileges.
Business Address
  • Company - the Company the contact works for. Only required for business contacts.
Other
  • Birthday - birthdays will be displayed on your planner.
  • Reminder - the number of days before the birthday for a reminder.
  • Date Created - the date the contact was added to the system.

  • Work in Progress
    This shows a list of the jobs in progress for the contact's customer.
  • Transactions
    This shows a list of invoices/adjustment for the contact's customer.
  • Quotes
    The sales process usually begins with an opportunity or a quote. Here you can provide your customer with a quotation of costs for them to decide upon before potentially proceeding with a job.
  • Activities
    This shows a list of activity with your contact, such as meetings.
  • Tasks
    This shows a list of your tasks for a contact.
