As web technology progresses, browsers are constantly being updated to include the latest technologies. One of the main current browser technologies is HTML5 - the latest version of the Hyper Text Markup Language most web pages are created in. The modern browsers support HTML5, though to varying degrees. HTML5 includes a whole range of improvements over HTML4, and the newer browsers support some of these new features but no browser supports them all. A good place to see the features your browser support is
http://www.html5test.com/ where your browser receives a score - the higher the score, the more HTML5 features your browser supports.
Why are we mentioning this? Blaq is constantly being updated to include new features, some of which are only available in HTML5. Some might not be very important (e.g. rounded corners on a box) but others may be very useful to you. Therefore, we always recommend our users keep their browser up to date with it's latest version, and if possible to use a browser which itself keeps up to date with the latest technology. Because of this, we generally recommend Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox as our preferred browsers.
